Job Description
MRO Channel Jobs is looking for a volunteer contributor interested in maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO), engineering, aviation, defence, manufacturing or related technical industries.
The volunteer will help identify useful employment opportunities, industry developments and professional resources that may benefit the MRO and engineering community. Contributions may include identifying relevant job opportunities, checking source information, suggesting useful industry content and helping improve the quality of information available through MRO Channel Jobs.
This is a flexible, remote, pro bono role. There are no fixed working hours or minimum weekly commitment. Contributors can participate according to their interests and availability.
WHAT THE VOLUNTEER GAINS
The role provides an opportunity to engage with the wider MRO and engineering ecosystem, develop practical research and professional communication skills, and build familiarity with employment trends, organisations and opportunities across the sector.
Meaningful contributions may be acknowledged through MRO Channel Jobs and, where appropriate, contributors may be given opportunities to publish or showcase relevant professional work through the wider MRO Channel ecosystem.
The experience can also provide useful evidence of initiative, research ability and engagement with the industry for a professional profile or CV.
WHO MAY FIND THIS USEFUL
This opportunity may particularly suit students, young engineers, early-career professionals, retired professionals, researchers and experienced practitioners who would like to remain engaged with the MRO and engineering community.
No previous volunteering experience is required. Familiarity with MRO, engineering or technical industries is useful, but curiosity, reliability and willingness to contribute are more important.
IMPORTANT
This is a voluntary, unpaid/pro bono opportunity and should not be regarded as paid employment.
